Is Safe Hero Legit? Facts About the Brand Behind the Flash Hammer®

Short answer: yes. Safe Hero is an emergency safety brand and the official brand behind the original Flash Hammer® car escape tool. Safe Hero® and Flash Hammer® are registered trademarks in the UK and the EU, the Flash Hammer is CE certified, and every order comes with tracked delivery, a 30-day money-back guarantee and customer support. Below are the facts you can check for yourself before you buy.

Who Safe Hero is

Safe Hero makes emergency safety products for drivers and families: the Flash Hammer car escape tool, an emergency fire blanket, first aid and survival kits, a respirator mask, a water filter straw and a pregnancy seatbelt adjuster. The products are designed in Europe and built to meet Safe Hero's own quality standards.

Safe Hero sells directly through its own stores:

• safehero.co.uk for the United Kingdom
• safehero.us for the United States
• safehero.shop for Australia, Canada and other markets
• safehero.eu for the European Union

Registered trademarks

Safe Hero® and Flash Hammer® are registered trademarks of MB Safety Solutions, the company behind Safe Hero. You can look up every registration in the official databases:

• United Kingdom (UKIPO): Flash Hammer UK00004321056, registered 3 April 2026; Safe Hero UK00004321061, registered 12 June 2026.
• European Union (EUIPO): Flash Hammer 019300719, registered 3 May 2026; Safe Hero 019329265, registered 2 July 2026.
• United States (USPTO): Flash Hammer, serial number 99584957, approved and published on 29 September 2026; Safe Hero, serial number 99584908, approved for publication.

That matters for you as a buyer: the Flash Hammer name refers to one specific product made to one specification, not to any window breaker that happens to look similar. It is also why Safe Hero actively reports sellers who use its brand names for other products.

What thousands of customers say

The Flash Hammer product page shows more than 4,400 customer reviews. Around 84% of them give five stars. You can read them, including the critical ones, on the Flash Hammer page. Common themes are buying one for every car in the family, mounting it within reach, and giving it to new drivers.

"Isn't it the same as cheaper tools?"

You will find online discussions saying spring-loaded window breakers are all the same. The principle is the same: a spring drives a hard pin into one point of tempered glass. What differs is the hardness of the pin, the quality of the spring, the seatbelt blade guard, the mounting holder, certification, and whether anyone stands behind the product when you need help. We explain each of these in why a Flash Hammer costs more than a $5 window breaker.

Where is Safe Hero from?

Safe Hero is a European brand, and its products are designed in Europe. What matters most for a safety product is who designs it, who tests it against the standard, and who answers when something goes wrong. For Safe Hero products, that is Safe Hero.

How to make sure you are buying the genuine product

Some marketplace listings use the words "Safe Hero" or "Flash Hammer" for unrelated products. Those sellers are not Safe Hero, and their products are not covered by our guarantee. If you are unsure about a listing, read how to spot a genuine Flash Hammer or send us the link.
